# QuickServe

QuickServe is a cross-platform, modular, and intuitive application for creating server for all different games. Simply drag & drop the module for your game, and with one click create a server for it.

### NOTE (IMPORTANT):

QuickServe is still in heavy development, many features are lacking documentation, implementations, testing, and more. Currently, the only module in development is a module for [Vanilla Minecraft](https://www.minecraft.net/en-us). This will change as the project progresses.

### Features:

* Simple drag-and-drop installation for modules.
* Shared and automatic runtime installations.
* Built in file browsing, editing, deleting, and creating.
* Create your own modules using an easy API.
* **WIP**: Automatic port forwarding for the NightHawkRax70 router (and more in the future)!

### Limitations:

While writing this project, I have only been able to test on Ubuntu 26.04, and MacOS. Windows has subsequently not been fully implemented, and has not been tested.

#### Known Windows Issues:

* JRE Installation will throw a NotImplementedError

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://quickserve.quintindev.com/quickserve.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
